ASOS – All That A Girl Needs

Last year I was on a search for the perfect lace up ankle boots. I eventually found them on one of the big clothing sites. They were by a brand named ASOS that I had never heard of based in the UK. Since then I have noticed ASOS mentioned on a few fashion blogs I follow. Thought I should take a look…whoa! A huge site with dearly selected lines. From sweet professional, to oh so sexy. ASOS shakes it.

Ritten House – Lookbook

Sally Mcdonald and Micah Hamdorf, the husband and wife creators of Rittenhouse , have developed a clothing label in Australia which blends simplistic design with casual elegance. Timeless pieces that I would love to mix with knit caps, jewelry, and scarves. The quality of the pieces, the design, would be a delightful canvas to build ones own personal style around. It’s always fun to shake it up a bit…

TOAST – Winter Lookbook

UK’s mail order clothing line TOAST has one of the most lovely lookbooks I have come across. A feeling, a look that I want to dive into and live in for a while. And that’s fitting, because as far as Jamie and Jessica Seaton, Toast’s founders, are concerned, it all started properly with Pajamas, back in 1997. Two archaeologists who decided to create a comfortable, yet luxurious line of fashion. Shake it TOAST.

CARDIGAN

CARDIGAN by Lynne Hiriak is a singular knitwear concept dedicated to the timeless item. Dress you up, dress you down, stay warm, stay comfortable. CARDIGAN realizes that people get attached to their favorite cardigans, I know I do. “There’s the everyday staple, the beat up favorite, and the one we wish we could replicate or buy instantaneously in every color. Cardigans are timeless and sentimental.” Shake it.

Numph Lookbook

This is Numph – I love their look. Such grace, and personality. I found it on one of my favorite style blogs, greedy girl. Numph says “Our dream was to create a brand from scratch, which is different and stronger simply because nümph sums up our experiences and creativity: cutting edge, twisted, feminine and rough, vulnerable and strong.” They inspire me to wear more color… mix it up, Shake it.

Ally Capellino Bags

In 1980 Ally Capellino was launched selling hats and jewelry. Her design studio now concentrates on two seasonal bag collections for men and women. Prestigious collaborations with the art and design worlds, most notably the Tate Modern and Apple Inc. I love the classic, vintage look, a nice change from our high-tech lap top bags as of late. Bringin it back. Shake it Ally.

Keep Warm With Cosa Verde

Cosa Verde uses either repurposed or organic yarn to create these pieces. Since I knit myself, I dream of the day when I can create such lovely things. They have an expansive site with other handmade goods, and an etsy shop to look through. For yourself, or a thoughtful green gift for a loved one. Let’s keep Cosa Verde shakin it.

Can’t Get Enough Madewell

Here are some of my favorite new looks from Madewell. I haven’t posted about them since last summer… such restraint. It was time, because as always.. Madewell knows how to shake it.
