Jen Renninger – Illustrations

Jen Renninger has a way of bringing some joy and ease to the world through her delightful illustrations. She has an amazing series of mid-century furniture drawings which I of course am in love with, but every once in a while a little Wonder and Wander is in order. Make sure to take a trip to her site pleasebestill.com to enjoy the rest of her lovely work. Now look closely at the last piece….Hello Bluebird, tweet tweet.  Ah yes, shake it Jen.

Ward Jenkins- The Illustrations of WardOmatic

Ward Jenkins draws and animates from his home in Portland, OR.  He moved here in 2007 with his wife Andrea (Hula Seventy) and their two kids, Ava and Ezra. I asked him one day via our old friend twitter about himself.  He linked me to his site. I scanned his bio and screeched to a halt at this: “I love collecting old ephemera, cookbooks, children’s books and what not from the 1940’s to the 60’s. I’m a  big fan of mid-century art & design. I also love old school hip-hop and graffiti.” Enough said.

Clearly, Ward Jenkins knows how to shake it.
