When Fat City Cycles closed it’s doors in 1994 the crew that was left formed Independent Fabrication. Employee owned and dedicated to doing things thier way, IF began to gain a cult following. As production methods become more sophisticated with the use of carbon fiber and titanium shotpeening, the IF team continues to make bikes by hand and respects the craftsmanship of the old way. The shop has great history behind it, the story inspiring, the site top notch. I am showing a few of their road bikes because it is what I am pining away for right now but the IF collection is extensive from commuter to concept. Shake it Independent.

I have an Independent Fabrication t-shirt that I got back in…1996? 1997? Sometime around there. I still have it. And still wear it occasionally.
very cool. I love the whole feel of their brand. Now if I just know what it feels like to ride one of their bikes.
