Located in Manhattan, Moomah is a real-life, fairy tale wonderland for both children and adults. It offers Art, nature, and music classes, locally grown organic food, and a place for families to be together in a calm, inspiring, environment. “At Moomah, art materials and projects illuminate universal themes: the five senses, the seasons, the animal kingdom, the body, mythical creatures. Your child is given the freedom to explore, to trust their impulses and admire the beauty of their expression” I have seen these prints before and was drawn to the quirkiness and the images of mid-century modern furniture. I was sold on them then and now am pleased I looked further into their origin, discovering Moomah. Voted the “Best Playspace in Manhattan 2010″ by New York Magazine, their website alone is a reprieve from the daily grind. Moomah is shakin it up in an amazing way.
