It took me a bit to come up with words for Julien‘s work. His pieces certainly make me think. Retro with a wild imagination, kinetic imagery, rich story telling, vivid color and for a moment he takes me away to another world—which I ended up finding out is his intention. Julien said “Before becoming an illustrator, I was, by turns : an astrophysician, an international snooker player, a hypnotist and an esperanto teacher. I hope I can someday have enough free time to devote myself to my real passion : time travel.” Take me away Julien. Shake it.
